Let's imagine you planned your career with its required training and education, identified potential job opportunities, written your job objective, and prepared your résumé . Now you are ready to actually apply for a job and ask for an interview.

Following successful completion of this lesson, students will be able to.

• Utilize research results to determine career and entrepreneurial opportunities, responsibilities, and educational and credentialing requirements.
• Determine factors to be considered in developing an effective career plan and procedures for obtaining employment.
